Valerie Stafford, M.S.

I’m a certified group fitness instructor who has taught since 1986. I owned Bodywise, a fitness studio in Oak Harbor for 10 years, and have been an instructor at Thrive Community Fitness in Anacortes, and Riverside Health Club in Sedro-Woolley. I also teach  wellness and physical education classes at Skagit Valley College and United General Hospital.

My certification is through AFAA, I’m a member of IDEA and IHRSA. I’m licensed by Zumba Fitness to teach Zumba and Zumba Gold. I’m also a Coach with Team Beachbody, which gives me the opportunity to work with people (here and everywhere) to lose weight, get fit and live healthier lives.


If you’re ready to get serious about your health and fitness, please consider starting (and sticking with) a safe, effective program of exercise and healthy eating. Life is too short. Let’s live it to the fullest.
